Was so thrilled that Lilu got in contact with me to collaborate! I fell in love instantly with this playsuit especially because purple is my favourite colour and it has such a gorgeous, subtle print!
I have seen more than one blogger wear this playsuit and they either wore it with a black kimono or a black jacket. I would have happily worn it with those items, but wanted to show you lot a different way you can wear a playsuit.. it doesn’t have to be this particular one! But anything with straps will do the job!
So I decided to layer it by wearing the crop tee underneath! It completely changes the whole shape and appearance of the playsuit because from afar, it looks like the playsuit has sleeves! I love it! Someone also commented on my Instagram that its a great way to cover up bra straps if you never like them showing. I also thought it made the playsuit look a little more girly and quirky looking. It doesn’t have to be short sleeves by the way, it could be a cropped tee with longer sleeves if it was cooler weather. Just as long as the neckline is high enough to sit properly underneath the playsuit, like in my photos ^^
You could even wear the top OVER the playsuit and make it look like a top and shorts instead! All the possibilities eh. Thats why playsuits are amazing =D
I do however wished the belt sat properly in the photographs though dammit! Ha it did look fine without, but thought the belt brought out the colours that were on the playsuit pattern. Plus, it also matched the necklace, which added further bling to the outfit!
The bag is a must! I don’t care if you get it from Miss Selfridge or Asos, I just think a fringe clutch is an essential!!! It added texture to this outfit and colour co-oridnated so well with the rest of the items. I know the one from Miss Selfridge is a perfect size for going out, out! (Out out as in clubbing, not just for drinks), but you do have to be careful with it being real leather. Might be worth spraying some of that leather protect stuff on the bag beforehand ^^.
I am not even going to go into detail with the shoes. I know I have featured them too much lately! But you will regret not buying I’m telling you that, and surely if I have featured them lots in my blog posts that must be a sign that they go with nearly everything and are comfy!
So I hope people liked how I dressed up this playsuit ^^
