I was so excited to collaborate with a brand called ‘Eden the Collection’, that specialise in all things festival and lots of pure bohemian. From leather fringe bags, to floaty patterned kimonos, I fell in love with their items instantly! So getting these items in the post literally made my day!
The dress is gorgeous! I wore it out today and got lots of compliments! The tassels make this dress really stand out! I just loved twirling in it, and its so easy to throw on because its a jersey material. Perfect for throwing over a bikini or just to hit the shops, or even for a festival! Its very easy to accessorise and I took advantage of this by wearing a statement clutch and my chunky silver necklace ^^. Its also a lovely length and can easily wear this dress without wearing shorts underneath.. score!!!!
I wanted to keep the outfit looking festival – style, but girly, so I added my trusty Topshop Lenka sandals to keep the outfit feminine. This helped make the dress look really nice for an evening of cocktails even!
Coincidently the dress went perfectly with the kimono, so I thought I would combine the two and show the kimono it all its colourful glory by keeping the rest of the outfit black. This worked perfectly with the scenery. Plus the sun shining in the background really brings the colour out in the kimono nicely ! The sizing I would say is pretty spot on. Its labelled a m/l and fits me perfectly, (I’m a size 10 normally) So it may be snug or more fitted on a size 12/14.. depends if you like your kimonos loose or fitted I suppose!
But I am going to be honest with you guys.. one thing I am gutted about (but secretly excited for)!.. I am giving this kimono away!!!! It was fun to promote it and show you lovely lot its pretty pattern but this will be given to one lucky follower!! Details about the giveaway will be on my Instagram this week so watch this space! I promise you this kimono is beautiful in person, and happy to be giving such a unique kimono away for someone to wear for the rest of summer =D (you best look after it, whoever the winner may be!)
Hope you liked how I styled up this kimono! Im starting to run out of ideas now….nah just kidding! But may take a break from the kimono posts and challenge myself to make an outfit without using a kimono! I just love them so much, wah!! If you want to see different stuff let me know!
