Happy Sunday!! I hope everyone is having a chilled weekend! I have a couple weeks away from retail now so I want to make the most of this time by blogging and blogging and if I have the guts I want get back onto Youtube. I have recently just redecorated my room and I'm pretty chuffed with the outcome. It includes copper hangers, a pineapple moneybox, an open rail and a lots of white! Considering my room used to be DARK PURPLE I am over the moon and my room feels so much bigger too! Potential room tour blog post might just happen!
So I have been meaning to shoot this look for yonks but I have been on a mission to find the perfect jumper dress. Ideally I wanted one that was baggy, and camel coloured, but sometimes you have to just accept that some clothing just isn't right or flattering for your figure. When I found what I thought was the dream camel jumper dress, my sister and mum both thought I looked like a shapeless potato sack (thanks for the brutal honesty guys!)
So my sister actually suggested this Missguided purple jumper dress for me. Although it wasn't camel or was a smock style fit, I knew the colour would go with my hair and it wasn't badly priced either. Wearing something that actually shaped me and my curves weirdly worked better than wearing a dress that hid them. You can't really tell with the New Look gilet on top, but this dress really is a lovely fit. Short (but that was expected), but better than any potato sack for sure!
So it got styled with my new Boohoo metallic bag which I picked up from one of their recent events. I love the quilted detail and chain strap. I'm preferring smaller bags lately to oversized tote styles. This sized bag definitely is a nice feature to have in an outfit but isn't too big where it looks distracting, or takes your eyes away from the rest of the outfit. Would recommend this for a night out bag also if you are bored of carrying a clutch bag all evening!
