Evening all! Did anyone go to LFW? I really couldn't be bothered this year. I think it was held at the Strand but ever since they left Somerset House it really hasn't had that spark which I truly miss. Somerset House was a great social spot and large enough for everyone to move around, get papped, or just to mingle. I remember the last time I went to the Soho LFW everyone was rammed together on Brewer Street and people were trying to take walking shots in the middle of the road whilst cars were trying to get past LOL not a great look!
That doesn't mean you can't make your own effort back in your hometown though! I stupidly fell in love with this Zara embroidered jumper when it went into sale and it had already sold out! So yes I did pay a silly amount for this on eBay but I have no regrets! I normally love my statement jackets but this embroidered knit is something special and the fit and quality of it makes it a jumper that I wouldn't want to wear all the time and ruin. Luckily for you guys I have found this online for roughly £35 and its STILL IN STOCK! It may not be from the Zara website, but it's the exact one and worth if you select the free slow delivery option.
So I was really unsure if I wanted to wear this jumper with the Missguided buckle skirt, but I wanted this look to be slightly over the top and for it to purposely have a lot going on. I probably would have felt more at ease if I wore this look at LFW because the street style at an event like that can be over the top and very creative. I would suggest going down a size In this skirt though! It does give after a couple of wears!
I also really love this cute little quilted bag from Topshop. Normally I like my oversized statement bags but wanted to keep this one small and dainty, yet it definitely isn't boring (it actually reminds me of the Gucci Marmont style). Luckily this one is only £25 and doesn't break the bank so I would recommend this one if you are sick of using the same old clutch bag for an evening look and want to go for a little boxy style instead!
