Evening! If you follow me on Instagram you would know that I have just returned from my 11 day holiday at the Kefaluka Resort hotel in Bodrum, Turkey. I was able to shoot three outfits whilst I was out there so my plan is to get all these outfits published this week and then I can start to focus on all the Autumn Winter clothing thats slowly starting to appear! I am gutted that I have come back to a gloomy rainy England, but thankfully I do LOVE my coats and jackets so I'm excited to move forward with the seasons.
So I'm starting with this stunning playsuit from Kiss the Sky. I'm going to be honest, it was only used for shooting and I never wore it to any of the evening meals. I purchased it from the Silk Fred website and someone suggested to go up a size because it was rather short in length, which I did. Short is an understatement!! It was just about okay to stand and take photographs in but then once you start walking then everything rides up! It's literally laughable. I'm only 5ft 8 and I never consider that massively tall!! I'm tempted to add some crochet lace on the bottom to help give it some length because I genuinely do love it and would love to wear it next year and actually feel comfortable wearing it! This hasn't been the first when purchasing from Kiss the Sky, a few of their items I've purchased have been on the short side, which is a shame because I love their summer collections for festivals. I even questioned if I was even going to post this outfit, but sometimes it's nice to show the real fit of something when the website photographs can be pretty misleading.
On a plus note I didn't have any issues with the Public Desire lace up heels. I wasn't sure on the clear heel to begin with, but it actually makes these shoes really versatile for many outfits. I guess a clear heel isn't anything statement or over the top, but something different to the expected grey heel. They come in other colours but I was after something different and I only own one other pair of grey heeled sandals. At least these will take me into Autumn Winter and they are comfy to wear (anything thats lace up is a win for me because they are so easy to adjust for the perfect fit!)
