The last holiday look is here (and I'm kind of relieved because I am so desperate to show you guys some autumn winter looks coming up so I want to crack on with that!). At the same time mentally, thinking about my holiday is just making me miss it and I need to move forward because I still have mega holiday blues! I kind of wish I went on holiday around June time because at least all of my items would be current and still shoppable for the sunny weather. Oh well stop dwelling Laura! Lets talk details!
I kept seeing the brand Honey Punch pop up on ASOS the odd here and there, and then this gorgeous grey embroidered smock dress appeared and I bought it instantly. I swear this summer my wardrobe has consisted of lots of playsuits and dresses this year, which is a little different to last years obsessions with kimonos. At least with this dress I'm planning to layer it with a crop jumper for Autumn and I think some black knee high boots will also look lush with this! I love the floaty simplicity and the material is really lightweight. Shame this dress is rather short in length, but I was expecting that to be the case anyways.
So I wanted to keep the colours simple. I felt like at this hotel not many people properly dressed up for the evening buffet. I wore flats most nights but liked these lace up espadrilles from Ego because the platform definitely gave the legs some length! Yes they look chunky but I can assure you that they are really comfortable to walk in!
I also thought the name of this post was most relevant. They had these massive giant leaves bunched together around the hotel grounds which I thought was rather Instagram worthy! Why I can't these in my back garden!?
