The statement jacket for LFW

Hey Hey! I hope everyone has been having a lovely bank holiday weekend! I'm just going to get to the point. I have been dying to blog this stunning bomber jacket from Zara and last week I finally got round to shooting it! I haven't blogged any bomber jackets recently because admittedly I haven't found any that have caught my eye and feel like loads of them look very samey right now. You get the same bomber jackets floating about on all these mainstream websites and none have drawn my attention. Plus I get too hot wearing a bomber in the summer so buying jackets like this isn't much my priority. Then I came across this stunning embroidered one online with the oriental print and I started to crave it! My first instinct was 'Omg this would look amazing for London Fashion Week!', only to realise after purchasing it that I will still be on holiday when LFW is happening d'oh! Who cares, this jacket will get worn loads and I want to blog it again but with a dress maybe? We shall see! By the way, this bomber jacket is pretty expensive, but I forget to mention that it is reversible (the other side is just plain) . If you love your jackets like moi over here, then this is definitely worth it! I have mentioned a couple of similar embroidered styles below that are way cheaper, but would also work for this outfit!

Okay so this outfit I wanted to keep it causal and practical for out and about. I have been eyeing up this Missguided skirt for ages but it kept selling out. Then I noticed they made a tall version and it states that 'Tall' on their website is specifically for 5ft 7 + so I fitted in this category! I have never bought anything from their tall range before, but I'm really impressed with this item. It was rather refreshing wearing a skirt and not having to worry about bending over because this covered everything! I liked that it sits just slightly above the knee and the dark denim colour makes this easy to wear with other clothes from my wardrobe. I'm wearing the size 10 and it was a bit of a mission getting it on, but the denim has loosened slightly.
