Only a blogger would understand the sheer joy when you find a new location to shoot your blog photos. This time my mum and I went into Oxford to see if we could find any areas that were spacious and quiet. There was us thinking that there wouldn't be many tourists at five in the afternoon on a Friday but boy were we wrong!! It wasn't too bad, but the tourists came in massive waves so every few minutes we had to wait for people to pass. Don't get me wrong I love having Oxford as my closest city and we do have some stunning building and architecture but it's crazy how busy this city gets considering I think the shopping is rubbish!

Anyway I wanted to shoot here just because I wanted to make more effort since I've been using the same location at my old school lately. I've had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with a jewellery brand called Hot Diamonds, which specialise in sterling silver and real diamonds. I was blown away by how massive their selection is and some of the designs are truly unique but easy to wear. For this outfit I am wearing jewellery from the Emozioni collection. They have these stunning coin pendants where you can not only choose the coin design, but the coin keeper that holds the pendant securely in place and also the chain. All of these can be mixed and matched so if you are after a really personal gift for someone then I would definitely recommend. I chose the rose gold colours because they are very on trend right now, and it also matched the gorgeous bangle which worked well as a lovely set. Even if you aren't a massive fan of statement necklaces then Hot Diamonds also stock lots of simplistic pieces which are at reasonable prices.

So although the jewellery would be perfect for an evening occasion, I wanted to try and style the two pieces for more of a day look. When I remembered I had the Adidas cap toe trainers I couldn't not wear these! The colours matched with the jewellery spot on and felt like they added some extra colour to the outfit.

The River Island kimono jacket was an instant buy! I loved the detail and tassel features to make this perfect for the summer and festival season! I think it would also make a great jacket for an evening meal because it does sit like a relaxed blazer and black will go with almost everything. River Island have also made a stone coloured version but it keeps selling out! I'm on a mission to get it - watch this space!
