Oriental Jacket

So a few weeks ago I was on a mission to find an Oriental Bomber Jacket that was last spotted in Zara three years ago. A few people were selling it for silly prices on Ebay (because it was considered rare), but I wasn't going to give up. Zara buys some of their clothes from Chinese suppliers which then also sell on the Chinese shops like Shein and Romwe. After searching on their websites and failing, I decided to ask my Instagram if anyone knew where to get it and luckily someone suggested the website Ali Express (another chinese website that stocks almost anything). Thank fully thats where I purchased it!! I can't believe some people were selling this jacket for over £200 on ebay but I purchased it for £50 and it was so worth the wait! The jacket is reversible if you aren't keen on the print, but in this case, the print was what drew me in, and I love that the sleeves are embroidered too!  I'm not fussed that it isn't 'officially' from Zara. I'm happy with the sizing and this was cheaper than the one stocked in the Zara stores, so.....I'm winning!
I styled this with a recent purchase which I've worn loads already and that's the Missguided harness bodysuit. This sold out on the website weeks ago but its luckily stocked on Asos but I have a feeling that once it's gone, it won't be coming back! I love the strappy design of this and I haven't seen anything similar to this style anywhere else. It's nice that it isn't too low cut either so it can be worn on casual days too with some ripped boyfriend jeans or you can smarten it with some culottes or cropped trousers. It's so easy to wear guys!
Keeping the outfit black was intentional so I opted for my old Topshop leather trousers. I wanted the jacket to be the main centre of attention for this look. I was considering ripped black skinny jeans but did think it might have looked over the top with all the detail on the top half. It was so tempting to add colour to this outfit though!
This suede bag from River Island is the perfect versatile luxury bag. I think it's the size of this is great for nights out, but you could fit enough in the bag for a trip to the shops. I love the chain detail and it does remind me of the Stella McCartney fold over tote bags (but luckily this one is only £45 and not £700+)
