Statement Trousers

Heey Hey! This is the first post for 2016 woo!! I'm typing this up at 3am, when I feel most awake and calm. If you saw on my Instagram I did mention that I haven't felt my self for the past couple of months, and the happy pills that I've been on lately just haven't kicked in! A part of me hates starting the new year on anti depressants, especially when I have so much I want to do. But when I wake up in the day I literally feel like I can't face anything. I don't even have the energy or motivation to go down to the post office, and thats literally down the road to me! I know I need to sort my sleeping pattern out and hopefully when the tablets kick in, then I'll be able to start on some things that I have planned (youtube and beauty posts perhaps?) Watch this space!
Okay so I shot this look the other day when I also visited Westfield (I'm seriously regretting not buying one of their pretzels I can taste it on my tongue just thinking about it!). I have found a street in South Kensington which is a gem to snap photographs. The street is quiet, the road is one way so there is hardly any traffic, and I just love that in this particular area, you don't feel the hustle and bustle of what London is normally like. I would like to snap photographs in other London locations, but I haven't got bored of this area just yet.
Lets start with the Topshop Jacket. It's very similar to the Zara one thats been spotted around, but this one is faux shearing, plus its more fitted in size. The material is so soft and the quality is pretty impressive. For £85, I expect the quality to be good and I think it definitely ticks the box. I wish it was slightly longer (and just my blooming luck they will probably release it in tall), but it's been worn a fair amount considering I only bought it a couple of weeks ago.
Normally in the winter I go very safe with trousers and I live in Topshop Joni jeans. If I see trousers that aren't jeans and are patterned, then I have to instantly love them! These are called cropped trousers but they basically fit like culottes, and I'm loving grey and beige colours right now. The print is bold, but they aren't too excessive or over the top, and I'm confidant these will go with many of my roll neck jumpers.
Well they go with this Missguided number don't they?! I think Missguided have been AMAZING this season with their winter collection, especially with their knitwear and jackets. This particular one has sold out, but I've linked a few below which would work with this look just as well.
I also need to add that Public Desire have been the best online shop in my eyes for affordable and statement boots! I love these ones because the clear heel makes these different (A stranger passing actually asked me if the heel lit up, I WISH!). Check out their collection here, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Now for the outfit. I love the Shearing jacket with the roll neck, they complement eachother perfectly, plus they look so snug! I also really like the cropped trousers although I don't think i could get away with wearing them myself.
