Evening! What on earth has happened to the weather recently!?! Last week was gorgeous, you wouldn't think it would be October. Of course the good weather wasn't meant to stay and most of this week in the shire it has been rotten! I was luckily able to snap this look today, but dark clouds were hovering. It makes me dread taking blog photos when the days get shorter because I hate rushing my photographs. I must stay organised!!
Let's begin with the boots. I got sent these from the Brand called Blowfish. I admit I had never heard of the brand before, but they do sell their stock on the High Street in places like Schuh and Office. I stumbled across these gorgeous boots in the colour 'Coffee' (they sell them in black also) and knew I had to blog these!! The best way to describe them is that I feel like I'm walking on air! The sole is so comfy and padded, plus the chunky heel makes these easy to walk in. I don't tend to wear heeled boots whenever I go shopping or to London, but I would definitely trial these out because I honestly cannot imagine these hurting my feet. The quality shows and the buckle detail on the boots are a nice feature. Adittedley I don't like to spend loads on shoes but these do feel sturdy and they are easy to walk in. I ended up running in these today because I actually got chased by a very tame pigeon!! My mum was in fits of laughter, but the pigeon took a liking to her and actually flew into her face. But hey, thats what happens behind the scenes when blog shooting!
I have recently bought the striped roll neck from River Island because I've seen it spotted on a couple of other bloggers and it has weirdly grown on me. I wasn't a fan to begin with, or had no intentions of purchasing it. I love camel this season and I love roll necks! I suppose the stripes does make this item the statement piece in this look. The only thing I'm not keen on is that its like a clingy stretchy material? It basically shows all your lumps and bumps if you have them! I don't mind wearing this top for this look because I loved the combo with the Zara gilet *swoooooon*. I have been after this jacket for yonks and love the colour and the fact that it is reversible!
