Hey Hey!! So this is my second London Fashion Week outfit which I photographed at home (d'oh!).
Normally LFW is set at Somerset House and that location is always perfect for shooting! The stone walls and cobbles are iconic and pretty, and there is nothing bold or distracting in the backgrounds to clash with your clothing. This year LFW was based in Soho and I was so disappointed! You know how people dress up for Ascot and everyone makes an effort? Thats how I felt when LFW has always been at Somerset House. Its the perfect place for mingling because its so open spaced and you don't feel like your in London when your walking around the cobbled quad section. I'm going to be totally honest, I know the bosses of LFW chose Soho for its character but it felt really grubby and nothing special (Not for fashion week anyways when everyone has dressed up!) Fair play to them for trying out a different location, but I hope they have learnt their lesson. Fingers crossed for February!
So lets discuss this look. I don't think I own anything white but I wanted to wear something out of my comfort zone so thats when I came across this Lavish Alice culottes jumpsuit from ASOS. If you look through my blog, you would know I am a massive culottes fan so I felt comfortable with the wide leg style, but I was conscious with how low cut it was! I never wear anything low cut eek! Not sure why but it just felt different for me. I do love how flattering it is, and its the perfect alternative to a full length jumpsuit, or a white playsuit.
The Boohoo waterfall jacket is a thumbs up in my eyes! I love the slouchy material and love the fit of this when you tie the belt. Its a thin knitwear material but it's perfect for layering. I would love to wear this with a roll neck jumper, or with a white top and white jeans. It also looks great when the belt isn't fastened but for this look, I wanted to give this outfit some shape. I'm sure I will blog it soon!
I accessorised with the snake print heels from Topshop (these are a must! They are so comfy) and this gorgeous fluffy clutch bag from ASOS. I felt like this outfit needed some texture and I was after something with fur or fluff ha! The pink suited the neutral tones and
