Happy Friday! Today I am finally off to the north to prepare for my favourite festival tomorrow, Creamfields! I've been meaning to dye my hair purple all summer but it made sense to time it for the festival occasion! Who knows how long I will have purple hair for, but I already know its a nightmare to maintain!
Anyways lets discuss this outfit! I got contacted by the Brand Zazzle to create and design a top which is a new feature for their website. Anything personalised or D.I.Y. I LOVE, so I couldn't turn down the offer! The problem is I'm very very picky and I had to really think about what motif I was going to put on a top! I overthink too much! I originally picked Dory's quote from Finding Nemo 'Just keep swimming,' but silly copyright got in the way so I've changed it to 'Keep on Swimming', which still means the same thing! I say this phrase a lot to people (and to myself) when I'm in a real rut about life and when I get impatient waiting for things. Life goes on and all you can do is plough through the bad and this is why I picked this slogan! One other feature I love is that they have a whole range of t shirts and tops to add your design onto, so I picked a floaty crop top because I wear a lot of high waisted clothing. Check out their website they do loads of create your own items such as cards, mugs, gifts etc. Perfect for occasions or if you are after anything unique!
The Missguided jacket is one of my favourite items I've received in the post this summer! The colour was admittedly a grower but I mainly love how well it looks with denim! Especially light denim! I'm wearing the size 10 and would say it's true to size. They do other colours if you aren't a fan of the vibrant mustard though, but the suedette material is GORGEOUS and soft! It's a wardrobe essential.
The River Island culottes are almost perfect in my eyes! I love the pocket stitch detail and perfect for the chillier seasons coming up. The only thing I can fault is the sizing! I'm wearing the 10 and suffer from the 'smaller waist, large hips issue'. These were a blooming nightmare to get on to begin with! I wish they fitted better but thats not going to stop me wearing these! But maybe try them on beforehand just to be on the safe side.
Public Desire are on a roll with their lace up shoes and these are some of my favourite from their collection. I've seen a couple of high street stores sell similar styles but for double the price so these are reasonably priced and they do loads more colours. I would recommend these more for going out shoes instead of day shoes because the heel height is high on these and I can imagine these hurting the feet whilst hardcore shopping or out and about.
