Evening! We are coming to the end of the month but luckily all my exciting activities are around this time. I was at V festival yesterday and then I'm off to Creamfields next weekend woop woop! So it made sense to team up with Boohoo to create a festival edit since I'm officially in the mood for it! I already had my outfits planned before they emailed, but I was still eager to blog a festival look, even though these photos are taken in a car park! It's a still a good example of what I normally wear and it's very true to my style. I fell in the love with the kimono straight away! The print is colourful and the tie waist gives it a twist to your standard kimono. I suppose this could be practical if the weather is windy so you don't have a loose kimono flying about uncontrollably!
The bodysuit was my favourite item in the look! I love the v neck shape and the lace detail is a nice touch to the bodysuit. I loved this so much I actually wore this item to V festival yesterday (blog about my day is coming soon!) I liked the style of this and if you aren't a fan of fastening it at the bottom you can easily tuck it in still to look like a vest top. I wish they did a white version of this because I think its so flattering! It also looks great with skinny jeans too.
I think you can't go wrong with a pair of denim shorts. Normally with festival weather (rainy and muddy) you tend to wear wellies and you do get very hot when wearing them! Wearing shorts just makes the remaining part of your visible legs breathable and they are comfy. I always like to wear shorts that are a flattering length (where my backside isn't half hanging out!), so I couldn't fault these at all, plus they are reasonably priced.
I styled up the rest of my look with the black fringe bag, gladiator sandals, and my Ray Bans sunglasses.
