Evening! The other day Matt and I went into Oxford to check out the new Topshop store, so it made sense to make the most of the location and to go and take some shots near to the uni grounds. The new Toppers store did look amazing although it was meant to be opened this time last year. Oh well it was worth the wait to see it and have a mooch. I could have held out and stayed for the store opening but have no regrets leaving last May and I defiantly prefer walking in as a customer than as an employee. That won't stop me going in and taking selfies though!
So I got these lovely floral shorts from Missguided. I love a statement pair of shorts when I see one and considering I'm not a picky person, the colour is subtle but I definitely love the print! I didn't realise they were elasticated so I could have gone down a size (wearing size 10), but then I'm not sure if the length would have been shorter, so I'm fine to keep these (means these are perfect for going to a buffet lol!)
I recently bought this bell sleeve lace up blouse from Asos and thought the two would go together spot on! I love how flattering and floaty it is, plus it will go with so much of my wardrobe! You don't need to iron it because the creases vanish when I steam it in the shower, however it does crease very easily! If you buy it make sure to keep the top straight as especially when sitting in the car and the seatbelt can bunch it up! Would still recommend it though.
The Topshop biker then matched my Missguided sunnies, boots and River Island bag. I wanted to keep the shorts the statement piece.
The only downer with this location is the blooming tourists! We took these shots on a thursday and Oxford was still heaving. So apologies for all the groups of people in the background. I will try and find somewhere quieter next time
