Not sure why it has taken me so long to upload this look from holiday, I think it's because I wasn't 100% feeling it, and these photographs took longer than planned. Had a case of a constant steaming lens which meant we had to stop, and I had to google how to avoid the steaming problem. Basically if you are ever in a hot and humid country, your camera has to be the same temperature as it's surroundings. Obviously if you go from an air conditioned room, into 40 degree heat, everything steams up. So we had to stand out in the heat for at least 15 minutes just so the lens cleared up! I felt like a sweaty betty ha!
So this was the last look. I'm kicking myself because I wish I took more outfits whilst I was out there, but we was only there for a week and the humidity was shocking. I'm in love with this Missguided midi skirt though! It's so flattering and the fringing adds a festival touch, but it can be easily worn for classy looks or an evening out. I did size down in this because the 10 was loose on my hips and waist weirdly!
The Zara jacket was admittedly not practical for the temperature that I was in, but for any British weather, this is the perfect summery jacket! I love the warming colours and eastern print, it makes me think of Dubai and Turkey just looking at it! It isn't cheap but it does have beaded and embroidery detail so the quality and craftsmanship does show.

  1. LOVE that skirt!
So jel of your holiday, I've never heard of that sense steaming scenario before though!

  2. Love this look, classy and modern at the same time.

Handy trick with your camera - if you have a balcony, just leave it out there for a few minutes to acclimatize before you go and pose for your photos, save you suffering the sweaty betties!! Hope your holiday was fabulous.
