If anyone read my blog last year, you would know that I had a MASSIVE obsession with kimonos. Don't get me wrong I still love my patterned cover up! But I think this year my love has shifted a bit more over to the shirt dress. I have seen so many amazing prints and you can still unbutton them to look similar to a kimono ha! They are super easy to dress up or dress down and you can change the fit by adding a belt. Gotta love the multiway purposes with a shirt dress so I couldn't say no to this one from Pretty Little Thing. The length is lovely on it to work as a dress but I'm still wearing my River Island shorts on underneath! It also has a nice split back that starts from the waist down, so the bra will be hidden thankfully! I love the blue and white combo, plus there is a subtle paisley print going on! The fabric is also what my mum described as 'thumb sucking material'. I've never sucked my thumb or finger as a kid so can someone please explain this!?! All I know is that it's not an insult!
I could have worn white shoes, but decided to get out my nude peep toe boots from Ark since I haven't blogged these in a while. I always opt for anything black when it comes to the shoes department but it makes a lovely change to wear these off white booties. I wish I was a shoes person like my sister but I do admittedly feel clueless when choosing shoes for looks!
I have worn these particular aviators from H&M so much this summer, and they were just a spontaneous buy in the que by the till! I have no regrets, because they are pretty cheap anyways, but I love the silver with a hint of greeny blue lens. I would be seriously gutted if I had the wrong shape head for aviators but one style of sunnies I do not suit is SQUARE!
What are your favourite style of sunnies and is there one that just doesn't work? Would love to know!
