So last week I went with Matt to pick up the last of his belongings in Bristol. Felt weird saying goodbye to his uni home, but it now means he is back in the shire for the summer woo! I love taking photographs in any different location where it's possible so it made sense to take some shots whilst we had a wonder round Cabot Circus.
I only thought about this outfit the night before but I am so blooming happy with it!! I really wanted to make the River Island leather cape go with a proper festival look and the colours worked out so well!
I can talk about this studded cape forever I cannot describe to you how much I love it! I first saw it at the Press Event ages ago and knew that it was one day going to be purchased. The quality is brilliant (so it should be for real leather), but at the same time, it doesn't feel that heavy. I have never seen anything like this cape before and I know it will be a statement piece in my summer wardrobe for years to come. The only thing I can fault is that the excess colour did rub off onto my back and made my back discoloured! No one saw so it didn't matter.
I also need to mention how much I love these Missguided burgundy shorts. Sometimes Missguided shorts can be..well..on the short side but these fully covered the bum and I didn't feel concious in them. In fact they are a perfect length on me (being 5ft 8). I love the fringing and the bold colour matched the fedora hat.
I do love the Missguided lace up cami top but is is snug on the chesty area. Go up a size if you do consider buying it!
The Black tied jewellery compliments this look with its simplistic silver designs. The ox necklace goes with so many looks and the feather earrings are perfect for my festival outfits or for any special occasions. I love that the 2 items go together.
Okay so this look is overall very colour block matchy matchy, but in my eyes, it works!
