Took these photographs at Matts University on Sunday! The plan was to take the photographs in the shopping centre in Bristol (Cabot Circus). But when I got my camera out, I realised I left the memory card in my laptop!
But bless Matt he suggested to try this area out at UWE which to be honest, did the job alright! I just wanted to find somewhere that was quiet and had no cars in the background (like most of mine when I take them at home!) They just get all samey and its so nice to have a different location out of Oxford.
But you wouldn't know these were taken in some uni grounds did you, if I didn't actually tell you the location :P
Okay lets start with the cape. Oh my golly gosh.. my cape addiction is out on control this year, BIG TIME! I just keep finding nicer and nicer capes to blog about, it drives my mind crazy! This one I especially love because it looks similar to the Burberry ones, with the blocked colours and distorted lines. It's one size but I love that its not massively oversized. It just sits perfectly for me and I'm so happy I was able to get my hands on it! It should be back on the website very soon, and when i've found out (since I check the Asos website every day) I will notify you guys on my Instagram, but its worth every penny, and its a BARGAIN! Compared to some of the other capes I've seen. Plus its a lovely material. The fur stole was the perfect accessory to make this cape look cosy and is a winter essential for layering your jackets/coats!
I promise next time I wear a cape, I won't wear it with jeans! Ive just realised this now that my last cape post in Bristol, I was wearing the exact jeans! I suppose that tends to happen when you do love a good pair of jeans, and you feel like you literally live in them. If I can't sway you to like the Joni jeans, then fair enough. But one thing I do know is that they keep their shape and are the most flattering pair of jeans I've ever owned for my body shape.
One item I must declare my love for is THE BOOTS!!! Ahhhhhhh you have no idea how much I love these! I saw them a couple of weeks ago and was tempted to get them there and then. But you know when you want to hold out and wait? Because you might just forget about them! In this case, distance made the heart grow fonder and I ordered them last week ha! If anyone knows me I am not a massive shoe person, but I love the suede material, and the subtle gold plate on the heel. The colour goes perfectly with the cape and they are bearable to walk in... although my ankle did slip and I fell down a few steps in Matts house that evening, but I will not blame the shoes! That was me being a ditzy blonde and I was carrying all my bags from the weekend to my car. I'm typing this right now with a twisted right wrist, wahh!
I have no regrets buying these beauties, and I'm not scared to wear them again!
