Ive done so many holiday outfits lately so thought I would start my outfits at home with a 'matchy - match' approach. I got kindly given the top and I have to admit, it's perfect for the festival season! The length went perfect with the high waisted jeans, and the embroidery detail is pretty! They also do this top in a coral colour, which I do have little regrets for not choosing that colour. The coral colour would have gone with denim lovely! Espcially with acid denim! I do admit, I thought the top was going to be more of a floaty material, but it does just feel like a thin, jersey top. It will do the job perfectly for any day out!!
But then wearing the mint coloured one forced me to wear my white high waisted jeans, my God I forgot how see through these jeans are! The top would have also gone with black, but I think mixing mint and denim doesn't always go...the colours are too similar. Hey ho thats me, prove me wrong ^^
The Topshop joni jeans are a must! I may not recommend these ones, but the fit is spot on and they have several colours and shades. You could only wear white undies with these bad boys and to be honest they are so snug (yet stretchy), that you would easily see the knicker line without a doubt.
Overall though, I love the matchy - matchy combo and felt 'fresh' wearing this. It was fortunate that I still had the clutch bag because they were close enough, the same shade! Then the shoes and jeans matched perfectly of course.
If you know me though, I also like to add something funky to my look so the shades did the job!! They were sold out for a while online so get them before they sell out again!! I love the cute little palm trees on the frames and stand out.
I would happily wear this look out for drinks.. even if I am worrying that I will get drink spilt on me ha! Or even for an evening meal.
Any of you ever matched the clutch bag to your outfit? Or made sure that the clutch was matching the shoes? AM CURIOUS
