Hey Hey!

This dress is a must have! Ordered the 10 and the 12 and stuck with the 12 as I couldn't even get the size 10 up! The neck detail is gorgeous and saves me from picking a statement necklace. Meant I could wear nice earrings for a change ^^. Still wanted to add a festival touch to my outfit so wore my Fashion Union kimono that I got kindly given and it really helped add colour to my outfit! Especially love my rings and earrings from Newlook, I go there 1st If Im looking for jewellery these days and my Topshop 'Lenka' shoes are spot on! First time wearing them and had no blisters and my feet didn't kill.

So.. I am buzzing! It still hasn't sunk in yet and it happened all so quickly! To know you have been shortlisted and then wait a month for the event to happen, and then its all over! But I have more of a reason to be buzzing because I won in my category 'Best Fashion Blog - Newcomer'!
I kid you not even when my name was called I goofily shouted 'whaaaat!?!'
I was presented the award by MTV presenter Becca Dudley which was amazing and had to be quickly interviewed later on by her. It was filmed but don't think its online yet! I will end up cringing at my face anyways ^^
I was shaking for a good ten minutes and someone even said I looked sad. For someone that is a non stop chatterbox I didn't really know what to say because I was in so much shock!
But the event was amazing! I met up with Anna from StyleSkittle beforehand and she is lovely! We have a lot in common and if you ever read this Anna, we will do a Topshop personal shop!
Everyone was just so so nice and I was so happy to have finally met Sarah from the Pommie Girl, Charlotte Fisher, and both of Two Shoes one Pair (had only met Amy but never Naomi!)
The event included hotdogs, ice-cream, free alcoholic drinks, a cute festival seating area, and stalls where you can get temporary tattoos, hair styling, and your nails painted! It was a lovely but an overwhelming atmosphere to be in the same room with people that all do the same thing as you - blogging!
If I could advise anyone that was new going to these events..
1. Take your camera! Even if your bag is too small I wish I had carried my slr about and took really nice piccys but I couldn't even fit my digital camera in my bag, so I depended on the iPhone, boo! You won't stand out, loads of people had their cameras.
2. Talk to people! Of course there were groups of girls that socialised together but thats because some people knew each other there from past events. But every group I tried to socialise with, no one made me feel excluded and I enjoyed listening, and people listened to me. It may be out of your comfort zone but its only for a few hours and you don't know when the next event will happen again. It also means that people will be more likely to remember you next time an event does happen!
3. Try and find someone you can meet up with before the event. I would have hated going by myself so it was really nice to meet up with Anna beforehand and get to know one of the bloggers better... before being thrown in the deep end! We are all girls at the end of the day and it was totally fine.
4. One thing I wish I did more of was research other bloggers beforehand. I admit it can get confusing having to remember the blogger name..and their personal name! But everyone at these events are in the same boat so its not the end of the world if you have to ask them who they are. Don't just pretend you know them haha. Its better just to be honest.
5. And ofc don't be offended if people ask you who you are or your blogger name. Take it as a compliment that they want to know who you are. They could have pretended to know you!

I wish I took more photographs! At least I know for next time, but seriously loved my outfit and thank you Company Magazine and The Missguided team for making it such a nice experience for a first time blogger event ^^

And a mahoosive THANKYOU to anyone that has helped with the voting. I honestly wasn't expecting it and it has really given me a confidence boost to keep going with this, I'm loving every second of it!
