Hello!

Today I went to one of Oxford's gorgeous College grounds to have a picnic. It's called Christ Church Meadow. If anyone visits Oxford, I would highly recommend a visit as its only a 5 minute walk from the shops and you are guaranteed a nice spot to have a picnic and socialise; the grounds are huge! As you can see its right by a river so I took the opportunity to snap some pics (well the boyfriend did haha, I did pay for the car parking afterwards to do him a favour!)
Visualised this outfit when I came across the boohoo blouse and thought a waistcoat would look lush with it! I especially love the tassels that go around the bottom of the shirt and also love that its longer at the back for a floaty casual look. I ordered the 12 and love how flattering it looks!
The waistcoat is beautiful! It was an instant love at first sight. The pattern is bold, all the colours go perfectly with the outfit and the foral print helps to keep it looking girly.
I couldn't decide If I wanted to wear ankle boots or black sandals with this outfit but went for my chunky Topshop Lenka shoes because I wanted to feel summery and girly still. If I was going to an actual festival then the ankle boots would suit the occasion nicely!
The bag catches the white on the waistcoat and helps to brighten up the outfit ^^ Its a nifty good sized summer bag but you do have to be careful to keep it clean as I have somehow, already got fake tan on mine!
Also the necklace is a MUST HAVE! So happy I found this in Oxford Circus. It sits so nicely on and love the turquoise stones around the edge. Its a perfect statement necklace and just completes the look for me.

Hope you like!

  1. I used to live in Oxford! Beautiful place and such good weather (compared to my homeland Scotland!). Used to love punting up and down the River Cherwell at this time of year. Loving all the tassels you've got going on in your outfits just now, very festival and summery. Looking forward to what comes next :) x
