Ways to wear a Kimono; feat Missguided, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Asos and more

Okay so my Kimono collection is growing at a rapid pace but the weather is still shoddy and not summery enough right now to wear any of them!
But it did get me thinking and made me really think of how you can wear this floaty style jacket because theres loads you can do with them but I do know some people just consider them as an 'awkward thin layer?'
That is not the case!

Festival Vibes

Kimono £65 // Asos
Dress £28 (was £45!) // Asos
Necklace £7.50 // MyLuna
Sandals £30 // Lamoda
Bag £19.99 // Newlook
Sunglasses £10 // River Island
Headband £3.99 // Newlook

For goodness sake why am I not going to a festival this year! Tbh even if I was going to Creamfields this year, this outfit might be too girly but would love to wear something like this for a picnic or even just out and about in town! Cannot believe that this dress has gone into sale its a beauty! Not everyone may like the long kimono (long kimonos do suit taller people in my opinion but there is also a shorter cream lace kimono here

Going out on a summer evening ..

Kimono £25 // Dorothy Perkins
Skort £45 // Miss Selfridge
Necklace £12.99 // Newlook
Top £14.99 // Missguided
Wedges £59.99 // Zara
Bag £28 // Asos

Kimonos don't have to be patterned! Liked this light fringed one from Dotty P because it's see through so it's especially handy for when you want to wear a statement top/bottoms like so! Perfect for a fancy evening meal and think the clutch looks way more expensive than £28!

Kimono £55 // Miss Selfridge
Jeans £40 // Topshop
Top £8 // Miss Selfridge
Necklace £19.99 // Zara
Shoes £22 // Boohoo
Bag £14.99 // H&M
Bangles £4.99 // Newlook

I need this kimono in my life!!! The colours are amazing and would literally wear this entire outfit if I could afford it all *sob* but the Kimono is on my wish list for next month for sure! I just like that its a colourful but edgy outfit and shows that effort has been made! Zara necklaces at the moment are spot on! Worth having a look!

Going out on a date ..

Palm Tree Print Kimono £28 // Bank Fashion
Boots 350 // Asos
Earrings £8.50 // Topshop
Top £26 // Topshop
Skorts £35 // Miss Selfridge
Bag £18 // River Island

So I might have purchased this Kimono because my mission in life is to own everything palm tree print ^^ Its a pretty good price as well!
This top is in our store at the moment and looks just as good as it does in the photo! The detail at the bottom helps keep this top looking feminine when it has a high neckline. The shoes are a unique colour but weirdly I like them! Cut out boots are genius for summer <3

Hope some of these pics inspired you to get out your kimono from last year or to even buy a new one! They are overall great for just throwing over nearly anything! Bikinis, dresses, top and shorts, top and jeans, midi skirts!
